Most of you that will be following this blog know that we have been waiting and waiting for our visas. The consolate told us that they would call us as soon as they were ready, but we haven't heard anything for weeks and they would not answer their phone. So at the encouragement of our mission director we drove to Los Angeles with the intent to knock the logjam loose. As we visited the consolate on Wednesday morning we discovered there was no logjam. We just had to ask for the visas. After a few signatures and thumbprints we received our desired goal as you can see in the picture.
We walked away wondering how long we would have been waiting had we not gone to LA and simply asked.
Who would have thought it would be that simple. But, thanks to all you who have been praying and fasting with us. We fly from SLC on Friday the 26th at about 1:00pm.
